PERRY SMITH
Perry relocated to Westcliffe with his family in 1993, transitioning from LaVerne, California. In 1994, he and Mark Maloney jointly founded Westcliffe Builders. Perry pursued his initial studies in Pre-Architecture at Cal Poly Pomona before shifting his academic focus to Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate (FIRE). He holds a profound appreciation for the artistry inherent in the contracting industry and is driven by the enduring quest to realize energy-efficient, cost-effective zero-energy homes.
DENNIS HUSVET
Dennis, a native of Winsted, CT, relocated to Westcliffe with his spouse in 1986. Prior to his partnership with Westcliffe Builders in 1999, he was the proprietor of a distinguished furniture and cabinet design business. Possessing an extensive background in residential construction dating back to the age of 16, Dennis also holds a degree in passive solar design. His passion lies in collaborating with clients to conceptualize their ideal residences and skillfully transforming those visions into reality.
MARK MALONEY
In 1994, Mark made the deliberate move from Southern California to Westcliffe, where he and Perry embarked on the establishment of Westcliffe Builders. Mark's lifelong dedication to the craft of home construction commenced early in his life, when he collaborated on a cabin project with a teacher during his 7th-grade years in Big Bear. Throughout his formative years, he spent summers honing his construction skills alongside his uncle. Mark's professional journey also included a notable 17-year tenure in the lumber industry before settling in Westcliffe. He derives immense satisfaction from translating clients' dreams into tangible reality, tirelessly ensuring that each home embodies their precise vision.
